What Parents Will Learn

The 180° Program provides schools with a series of Parent University workshops and training seminars. We offer an intense and informative academic support and core behavior intervention training/coaching for parents seeking to improve their children’s lives as well as their own. These services are specifically tailored for all academic and culture/climate settings.

DELIVERABLES

Total Package Lifestyle, LLC will conduct in-school classroom sessions with parents. Said sessions will be facilitated by certified Parent Facilitators with The 180 Program. Parents will receive development and resources to support them helping their children. Parent awareness of parental involvement and responsibilities will be increased and parent participation will grow by 30% as long as all other associated sessions are ran according to building principal schedule.

  1. Introduction to Parent University Total Package Lifestyle, LLC (The 180 Program), will provide 2 hours of Introduction to Parent University to an unlimited amount of parents with students in Grades 9-12 that is designed in to promote parental awareness of 1) the importance of parent involvement, 2) school building operations, 3) meet/greet with principal, teachers and stakeholders, 4) school resources for parents, 5) parent volunteer options and 6) school support. Throughout said services, vendor/partner will engage parents in group discussions/thinking activities, food/refreshments, handouts, oral presentations, field trips, written/reading assignments, role-playing, and viewing/dialogue on video documentaries.

  2. How to Develop Pro-Social Values in Your Child and Breaking the Cycle of Dependency
    Goal: Total Package Lifestyle, LLC (The 180 Program), will provide 2 hours of How Develop Pro-Social Values in Your Child and Breaking the Cycle of Dependency to an unlimited amount of parents with students in Grades 9-12 that is designed to promote parental awareness of 1) understanding social values 2) how to build a value system in your child 3) how to avoid common societal pitfalls for your child , 4) properly challenging thinking distortions built by environment/experience, 5) improving a bad attitude and 6) how to break “generational curses”. Throughout said services, vendor/partner will engage parents in group discussions/thinking activities, food/refreshments, handouts, oral presentations, field trips, written/reading assignments, role-playing, and viewing/dialogue on video documentaries.

  3. Creating a Learning Environment at Home
    Goal: Total Package Lifestyle, LLC (The 180 Program), will provide 2 hours of Creating a Learning environment at Home to an unlimited amount of parents with students in Grades 9-12 that is designed to promote parental awareness of 1) home resources for learning, 2) home set up methods for best academic results, 3) setting up a Homework Assistance station, 4) how to solicit academic help from teachers and counselors 5) college preparation and 6) home rules that work. Throughout said services, vendor/partner will engage parents in group discussions/thinking activities, food/refreshments, handouts, oral presentations, field trips, written/reading assignments, role-playing, and viewing/dialogue on video documentaries.

  4. Post Incarceration: Bridging the Gap of Time with Your Child
    Goal: Total Package Lifestyle, LLC (The 180 Program), will provide 2 hours of Post Incarceration: Bridging the Gap of Time with Your Child to an unlimited amount of parents with students in Grades 9-12 that is designed to promote parental awareness of 1) realities that incarceration have on the community/family 2) the impact on the child of parents being incarcerated 3) challenges of ‘coming home’, 4) starting and sticking to a new leaf, 5) The meaning of real bonding and 6) how to properly steer our children through school. Throughout said services, vendor/partner will engage parents in group discussions/thinking activities, food/refreshments, handouts, oral presentations, field trips, written/reading assignments, role-playing, and viewing/dialogue on video documentaries.

  5. How To Prepare for and Take Tests
    Goal: Total Package Lifestyle, LLC (The 180 Program), will provide 2 hours of How To Prepare For & Take Test to an unlimited amount of parents with students in Grades 9-12 that is designed to promote parental awareness of 1) various test preparation techniques, 2) how to create pre-test taking activities 3) how to physically and mentally prepare for tests , 4) types of test, 5) understanding ScanTron and other methods of taking test and 6). Things to avoid prior to taking a test. Throughout said services, vendor/partner will engage parents in group discussions/thinking activities, food/refreshments, handouts, oral presentations, field trips, written/reading assignments, role playing, and viewing/dialogue on video documentaries.
  6. How To Make Mathematics Fun for Your Child
    Goal: Total Package Lifestyle, LLC (The 180 Program), will provide 2 hours of How To Make Academics Fun for Your Child to an unlimited amount of parents with students in Grades 9-12 that is designed to promote parental awareness of 1) methods to reach their child at any level, 2) how to turn social media into academic activities 3) how to set up daily assignment , 4) how to use pop culture to teach the importance of academic achievement, 5) how to properly align sports with academics and 6) incentives for improved grades. Throughout said services, vendor/partner will engage parents in group discussions/thinking activities, food/refreshments, handouts, oral presentations, field trips, written/reading assignments, role playing, and viewing/dialogue on video documentaries.

  7. Computer/Technology Skills
    Goal: Total Package Lifestyle, LLC (The 180 Program), will provide 2 hours of Computer/Technology Skills to an unlimited amount of parents with students in Grades 9-12 that is designed to promote parental awareness of 1) computer literacy, 2) closing the gap of the digital divide, 3) positive parent/child online learning activities, 4) how to use the internet to increase student academics, 5) resources for basic computer skills development and 6) how to make the internet safe for your children. Throughout said services, vendor/partner will engage parents in group discussions/thinking activities, food/refreshments, handouts, oral presentations, field trips, written/reading assignments, role playing, and viewing/dialogue on video documentaries.
